MG India to Launch New Car Subscription Service

At present, MG Motor’s India line-up consists of three SUVs such as the all-electric ZS EV crossover, the Hector Plus six-seater, and the Hector mid-size SUV.

MG India has joined forces with ZoomCar to launch a new car subscription service in India. With this partnership, MG Motors will use ZoomCar’s existing infrastructure and platforms to expand the reach of its membership plans. However, MG India’s partnership with ZoomCar will not influence its subscription program with Myles and will work with both ZoomCar and Myles, car-sharing and car subscription companies. The partnership aims is to provide next-generation mobility solutions to customers.

According to MG India’s Chief Commercial Officer Gaurav Gupta, it is a pleasure to join hands with ZoomCar to offer customers an eye-catching monthly vehicle ownership program. Customers can now experience the high-tech features of MG vehicles before buying them. Moreover, MG plans to make the company’s vehicles more accessible to potential customers in India. Gupta added that the new subscription service will generate substantial thrust among all auto enthusiasts. ZoomCar will now manage the subscription plan on behalf of MG India.

A new subscription program will be available on all MG vehicles for 12 months (1-year), 24 months (two-year), or 36 months (3-year), with monthly payments. The longer the tenure, the lower the monthly fee. MG India and ZoomCar will provide 24x7 support to their customers for all bookings and vehicle-related matters. Moreover, both will offer enhanced customer support services such as vehicle scheduling, logistics support, on-ground fleet management, and more. Moreover, the company is planning to launch a full-size SUV, named Gloster that is expected to be launched by the end of 2020 or in January 2021.
