BMW Launches 3 Series Gran Turismo in India

Customers have the choice of four exterior colors such as Estoril Blue Metallic, Black Sapphire Metallic, Melbourne Red Metallic, and Alpine White.

BMW has launched Shadow Edition of the 3 Series Gran Turismo in the Indian market at US$ 56589.18 (Rs 42.50 lakh, ex-showroom). The company is now offering the 3 Series GT in a single, 330i M Sport variant. The Shadow Edition features M badging on the front fenders, gloss black finish for the tailpipes and grille, an M aerodynamics package, and 18-inch black M alloy wheels. An M aerodynamics package includes the rear apron, side skirts, and front apron with Dark Shadow Metallic finish. Moreover, it gets M badging on the key fob, on the door sills, and an M leather-wrapped steering wheel.

The Shadow Edition is laden with features such as LED taillights and headlights, an 8.8-inch touchscreen with the company’s iDrive infotainment system, dual-zone auto climate control, a nine-speaker audio system, a panoramic glass roof, ambient lighting, adjustable seats with memory function, and an active rear spoiler. The 3 Series Gran Turismo Shadow Edition is equipped with a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine that delivers 252 hp of power and 350 Nm of peak torque. The 3 Series GT completes the 0 to 60 miles sprint in 6.1 seconds.

The petrol unit is paired with an eight-speed torque-converter automatic transmission system. Moreover, the 3 Series GT comes with standard safety features such as six airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with brake assist, Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), front and rear parking sensors, a rear parking camera, and a Tyre-pressure monitoring system. Customers have the choice of four exterior colors such as Estoril Blue Metallic, Black Sapphire Metallic, Melbourne Red Metallic, and Alpine White. In India, the 3 Series Gran Turismo will be replaced by the all-new that’s currently on sale in China.
